Credit Controller – Hybrid Working

Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM till 5 PM

My client is a big International Business within the Medical sector that produce Medical devices/equipment such as Custom Knee Braces, Hip Implants, Shock Therapy, Spine Bracing just to name a few. They have offices in the UK and America and have many sectors within the business such as products for Surgical use, Bracing & Vascular or Recovery Science (e.g. Shock Wave Therapy).

The Role

You will be responsible for the Accounts Receivable ledger for my client. You will ensure up to date Credit management procedures are in place to keep overdue balances and debtor days to a minimum


• Credit Control: Responsibility for credit control for the client. This will cover all areas of credit control i.e. opening accounts, credit checks, chasing debt, raising credit/debit notes, releasing orders and clearing queries

• Debtor Management: Continual review of customer accounts to ensure cash is being collected to payment terms and ensuring any issues are raised with the customer and relevant sales managers

• AR Reviews: Active in regular AR review meetings with UK Controller and outsourced AR team members

• Bad Debt Management: By ensuring sound credit control management is in place to keep bad debt to a minimum.

• Managing Online Webstore transactions: Ensuring orders placed online via our webstores are reconciled and transferred appropriately to the bank regularly

• Process any refunds / reversals for Customer Services

Your Experience

• Previous experience in Accounts payable and receivable
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a fast paced, environment
