Finance Assistant

Location: Camberley (hybrid)

Salary: £20,000

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30am-5.30pm

An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, enthusiastic team of professionals working for a well-established national provider of property marketing and surveying services.

Main Responsibilities:

Accurately processing invoices and costings to the correct nominal codes.

Identifying invoices that are overdue for payment and contacting clients by phone, email and letter to pursue outstanding debts.

Setting up new client accounts on Fastrack (internal database) and Sage Accounts.

Setting up supplier payments and client refunds

Investigating and resolving internal and external account queries.

Posting and reconciling bank reconciliations and sagepay receipts/payments

Providing general administrative support to the accounts department including filing and opening post.

Provide accounts and administrative support to the production team when required.

Perform other office duties from time-to-time as required.

Skills:

Ability to work on own initiative and without direct supervision

General business skills (use of CRM system, MS office and diary management)

Enthusiasm and willingness to learn

Good organisational skills

Strong analytical skills

Excellent attention to detail

Experience desirable, but not essential

No degree in accounting or finance needed

Holidays:

20 days (plus bank holidays)
