Logistics Coordinator

Location: Aldershot

Salary: £24,000

My client based in Aldershot is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join their team. They are looking for a strong team player who is organised with a good understanding of Excel. You will be managing orders from the time of order placement through to the delivery to the customers while ensuring professional and quick turnaround times.

 

Responsibilities:

To manage orders from time of order placement through to the delivery to the customers while ensuring professional and quick turnaround times.

Completing paperwork, for example, letter of credits

Plan, prepare and meet delivery deadlines of critical and urgent orders.

Escalations for orders not meeting our initial delivery schedule.

Dealing with errors or issues relating to non-delivery and following up to ensure corrective action is undertaken rapidly with an end resolution which does not impact negatively our relationship with the customers.

Handling arrivals and receipting of goods remotely with our worldwide warehouse locations.

Handling pick slips and packing requirements with our worldwide warehouse locations.

Handling pre-shipment requirements and inspections for all exports.

Creating sales invoices and recording purchase invoices onto our system.

Maintaining data, reports and compliance in accordance with the UK export regulations.

 

Skills:

Experience of dealing with letter of credit

Good understanding of Microsoft office programs, Excel experience is critical and you must be able to process large amounts of data professionally and quickly.

Team work orientated.

Good discipline, professionalism and time keeping.

Well organized and able to handle multiple tasks throughout the day.

Willingness to learn and to improve.
