Sales Lead Generator

Location: Frimley

Salary: £20,000 + OTE

My client based in Frimley is looking for a Sales Lead Generator to join their team. You will be providing a pipeline of sales ready leads for training, certification and bespoke service delivery to the sales teams. You will sell over the phone / email / online products & services from the companies portfolio. You will be contacting key decision makers in businesses nationwide (both new and existing) with the aim of creating new and continued business relationships

Key Accountabilities:

To identify opportunities from download leads based on an understanding of campaign activity to gain initial interest and develop the lead into a fully qualified sales lead.

To nurture such contacts based on commercial assessment, in line with business priorities to pass to sales for closure of the sale so that appropriate growth opportunities are maximised.

To make outbound sales calls to generate new qualified leads, to be passed to a Sales Executive or to follow-up close.

To manage, collate and create proposals to be sent via phone/email and closed into a final sale.

To book appointments for sales for designated campaign activity to progress contacts through the sales process.

For designated campaign activity, seek out and be receptive to coaching to understand drivers, audience, product, competition and industry in order to follow-up and chase leads in a timely manner.

To develop and maintain quality and progressive relationships with prospective customers and key clients at all times.

To accurately record information/extract data and manipulate/analyse information to be able to effectively pass leads to academy sales

Support the business by ensuring that excellent and professional customer service is provided on every call.

Be aware of and leverage sales tools where appropriate.

To work with other members of the team (commercial, operational, technical) to ensure all sales opportunities are maximised.

Develop and maintain an up-to-date understanding of both clients service requirements in order to capitalise on opportunities to develop incremental revenues.

Skills & Knowledge:

Able to work under own initiative and with a high degree of autonomy

Knowledge of IT systems, particularly MS Office applications

Able to adopt a flexible approach to work and react effectively to a rapidly changing environment

Excellent (two-way) communication skills verbal, written and listening

Effective interpersonal skills able to develop positive working relationships with people at all levels

Able to identify and capitalise on business development opportunities

Self-starter, well-organised

Strong sales focus

Experience of establishing professional and progressive relationships with key influencers in client organisations

Experience of negotiating effectively with customers in order to close a mutually beneficial sale

Experience of working to tight deadlines under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

Experience of working in a busy B2B office environment in a customer facing role
