Shipping and Logistics Administrator

Location : Camberley

Salary £23,000-£30,000 D.O.E

My client who are based in Camberley who are a leading FMCG food related company, are seeking an Shipping and Logistics Administrator to join their fast growing company. To apply for this role you will need excellent attention to detail as well as previous experience working within a supply chain/imports role.


Daily Duties

Receiving orders from our Demand/Planning team

Lodging orders with suppliers

Timely track and tracing to ensure rapid product arrival

Regular updates to the Demand Planning team on order progress

Document auditing and checking of paperwork, licences, certificates for safe UK clearance at port

Liaising with shipping lines, freight forwarders, clearing agents and haulage companies

Liaising with Internal Teams for goods arriving into warehousing

Receipt and delivery of Goods into the IT system

Actioning of rework orders supplied by the Demand Panning Team & liaising with 3PL logistics to make sure orders arrive in a timely manner.

Ensuring external Commercial and Pricing communications are distributed Internally

At least 1 year shipping experience which includes the understanding of documentation required for Customs Clearance.

An accurate, methodical approach and critical attention for detail

Organization, planning and prioritisation skills

Clear IT, written and verbal capabilities

Preference for existing logistical relationships and knowledge

A-level or Higher
