Sales Administrator

Location: Basingstoke
Salary: £30,000 per year
Type: Full-time, in-person
Experience Required: 5+ years in sales administration, ideally with export experience

 

Key Responsibilities

Managing end-to-end order process for both export and domestic orders, including transport coordination

Processing customer orders via phone, email and online portals

Liaising with the production and warehouse team to confirm despatch dates and delivery schedules

Ensuring timely and compliant despatch of customer orders

Arranging freight bookings and liaising with shipping companies and couriers

Handling customer queries and providing outstanding support to both domestic and export clients

Updating the customer database and maintaining the price book

Using Sage 50 (or similar) for order processing and invoicing

Supporting the sales team with administration and customer liaison

Performing general office duties as required

 

Key Skills & Experience

Minimum 5 years of sales administration experience

Experience with domestic and international order processing

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Working knowledge of Sage 50 (or similar ERP system)

Highly organised, strong attention to detail, and excellent communicator

Able to multitask and work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners

Customer-focused with a proactive approach to service

 

Working Hours & Benefits

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 (1-hour lunch)

Holiday: 25 days + public holidays (rising to 28 days after 2 years)
